SAP Security Patch Day – May 2020
Tuesday, May 12th, the SAP SE security experts released 18 Security Notes. This months patch day also contains 4 updates to previously released security notes.
Our security researchers carefully reviewed the corrections and implemented immediate monitoring capabilities within our SAP security platform, SecurityBridge. SAP customers running SecurityBridge can download an updated signature configuration file via the product support page. Once the new signatures are uploaded into your SecurityBridge controller, you will be alerted immediately when the vulnerability gets exploited, even without implementing the mitigating security note(s) across all affected systems.
Our team of experts have emphasized the need to install patch 2835979, which corrects a Code Injection vulnerability in Service Data Download for SAP Application Server ABAP.

SAP Security Patch Day
Today is another SAP Security Patch Day. In May 2023, the SAP Response Team released 20 SAP Security Notes, including Evergreen 2622660 Security updates for the browser control Google Chromium delivered with SAP Business Client with HotNews priority. Besides two updated Notes, SAP Security Patch Day May 2023, contains 18 new security updates for the vast SAP Product portfolio while the majority relates to SAP Business Objects.
