A day in the life of a business development director

At SecurityBridge, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by a team of outstanding professionals. Our team is constantly working to position SecurityBridge as the leading cybersecurity platform for SAP systems. With this in mind, we have decided to introduce you to the talented individuals who drive our operations behind the scenes. Meet Amber, our Business Development Director, and discover her pivotal role, gain insights into our values, and uncover her forecast concerning our market and product.

What exactly is your role and what do you do?

In my role as “the friendly face of SecurityBridge,” I take on the role of an orchestra leader working at the forefront. My primary mission is to seek out companies and individuals who need a comprehensive and advanced SAP cybersecurity product. Each day brings a diverse range of tasks. By leveraging the power of social networks, I intensify the reach of our exceptional marketing materials and proactively connect with customers and prospects, providing them with valuable documentation, use cases, and product datasheets. Additionally, I facilitate engaging demo sessions to highlight the capabilities of our product in line with their specific needs. If prospects find value in our offerings, my responsibility is to ensure they are seamlessly connected with the appropriate SecurityBridge team. Sometimes, I also participate in SAP security events and conferences here in the US. My approach to sales is rooted in knowledge and understanding, rather than relying on fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD). By taking the time to truly know my audience, I empower them to make informed decisions based on their specific needs and requirements. It is through this customer-centric mindset that I strive to make a meaningful impact in the field of cybersecurity. 

Can you tell us more about how SecurityBridge helps you do your best work remotely?

I work from my home office in Boca Raton, Florida. SecurityBridge is a forward-thinking company that embraces flexibility, enabling me to deliver my best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Communication with my colleagues is seamless through various channels and tools we use internally. We have a comprehensive suite of tools that empower us to connect with stakeholders. These resources ensure we don’t overlook prospects or customers, allowing us to provide exceptional service and support. 

What is your favorite company value?

Being a member of a company that truly shares my values fills me with immense pride. While every value we hold is of utmost importance, integrity is special to me. At SecurityBridge, we firmly reject aggressive gorilla marketing or deceptive sales tactics. Instead, we prioritize a helpful, transparent, and knowledge-based approach, ensuring our interactions are rooted in honesty and trust. This commitment to integrity resonates not only externally but also within our organization. We operate cohesively and harmoniously, driven by our shared values as a team. This unity is a powerful force that propels us toward our collective objectives. The resulting collaboration, synergy, and sense of purpose enable us to achieve remarkable outcomes together, although we reside in various parts of the globe. 

How long have you been working at SecurityBridge? How did you end up working here?

I have been working at SecurityBrldge for almost a year now. I had the privilege of collaborating with Elizabeth, SecurityBridge’s VP of Sales, and Alliances, for multiple years in a previous information security company. Our shared dedication to security runs deep and continues to be a driving force in our professional lives. I have over two decades of experience in information security – the journey thus far has been fulfilling, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges ahead in this ever-evolving industry. 

What do you think about our product and the impact it has on our customers?

In all my years of experience, I have never seen a product that has filled me with as much excitement as the one we offer. The reaction of our customers and prospects is remarkable, and their satisfaction has been a driving force for me. One noteworthy aspect that sets us apart is our exceptional customer service, which has led to an outstanding 0% turnover rate. Moreover, our platform has received rave reviews from our valued customers and prospective clients, further validating the exceptional features and capabilities it has. Witnessing such positive feedback and reception reinforces my belief in the value we bring to the market. 

What growth opportunities do you see for our company in the upcoming future?

The growth we have experienced in new customers and potential clients is truly phenomenal, with a staggering 300% increase. This exciting development has generated significant interest on a global scale. It is remarkable to see the widespread enthusiasm for our solutions spanning different nations and industries. This remarkable level of interest is a testament to the value and relevance our products and services bring to these industries.
