ABEX becomes SecurityBridge

Literally and figuratively speaking: ABEX (ABAP-Experts.com) is crossing the “bridge“, like many customers, partners and experts have done.  

Ingolstadt, Germany: December 2020, NCMI GmbH, today announced to rebrand ABEX into SecurityBridge. On the back of a successful year with global expansion,  we have decided to merge the companies brands into the unified name: „SecurityBridge“. This decision was made to establish a more global branding that would work well across our expanding markets. 

The SecurityBridge Platform takes a radically different approach from traditional security tools, to protecting SAP customers. By identifying configuration vulnerabilities, highlighting security flaws residing within the customer’s code, and advising on available patches we help SAP customers to significantly increase their cybersecurity posture. Zero-day exploitations can therefore be detected by the power of anomaly threat detection to constantly monitor SAP applications and custom code.

In addition to brand consolidation, our objective is to combine the product portfolios under the SecurityBridge Platform, enhancing the product capabilities and unifying the user experience.  

SecurityBridge is a modern SAP Security Platform, natively build in SAP.  It uses an ABAP based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to guard your SAP landscape 24/7. Its frontend is build with Fiori, which provides you an intelligent insight on the security posture of your ABAP, Java and HANA based systems.

Our company has expanded significantly, with an aggressively upward trajectory, with a global reach into major geographies such as the USA and Asia. We need to have a brand that is universal and easy to understand across many languages.  

Going forward we believe this will strengthen our company’s identity and brand recognition, and be beneficial to further growing the company.
